Site updates

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been doing a lot of house cleaning on the site. Much of it is behind the scenes.

Still a little work left to do, but the bulk of it is done. Still some minor things. I hope to update things more frequently now.

ABC Regional week

Nothing really to report from ABC regional week. We are very pleased with how AJ showed, despite the results. He is just a natural in the ring, and he enjoys spending time with his handler and friend Cindy. They make a great team.

On Saturday after the regionals, AJ went Reserve Winners Dog to a 4 point major. Obviously we’d prefer the points and the major, but we’re still happy with the results.

Thank you to Cindy Crawford-Gorath for being so great to us and to AJ.

AJ wins!

Today at the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club show in Sequim, WA, under Judge Miss Virginia Lyne, AJ went Winners Dog. We are very excited for our boy.

AJ, as always, is expertly handled by his friend Cindy Crawford-Gorath.

Thank you Miss Lyne for this wonderful win.

Trillium.Live

Thank you all who have been watching the puppies grow on the webcam. It was a great success. We literally had people logging in and watching from all over the country. Again, it was much more popular than we ever imagined. It was simply an idea born out of our desire to be able to keep an eye on the pups, and share the joy with our friends.

For the next few weeks, the webcam will be offline. Currently there isn’t much to see. Once things settle down a bit more, we will turn it back on in it’s permanent location.

Site traffic

Site traffic has been through the roof. Since Annie had her puppies, site traffic has trippled. We are already on target to have another big month. See the graph at the bottom of this post.

By far, the most popular feature has been Trillium.Live. I can’t believe how much traffic it’s getting. Puppies are fun to watch, but I never expected to get the number of visits we have. Thank you all for sharing this wonderful time with us.

Housekeeping and pupdate.

First order of business: In order to battle spammers, we moderate comments and I had forgotten to check and approve everyone’s comments so they would show up on the site. Thanks everyone for your kind words about the puppies. I apologize again for them not showing up right away.

On a similar note, we will not entertain puppy inquiries via our commenting system. If you are interested in contacting us about puppies, please read our “Before you buy..” page, and then fill out the questionnaire on the litters page. If you have questions that we don’t address on the site, you can contact us via email. Thanks!

Everyone is doing great. Pups are growing so fast, we can hardly believe it. They are all right on schedule for growth and maturing, and their individual personalities are starting to show. Some are quiet and reserved, some are quietly active and some are….well, let’s just say when they’re hungry we hear about it.

More updates soon…

Pups are here!!

Annie’s babies are here, and all are healthy and doing great. Check out the litters page for pictures, and check back for more updates. Thank you to all who joined us via Trillium.Live for the exciting event.

Another thank you goes to Sharon Berry from Berlane Boxers for allowing us this wonderful opportunity.

A very special thank you to Renee Howard and Barbara Reudink for their never ending support, friendship, and mentoring. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Puppies!

Annie is due any day now. We are running live streaming video of the whelping box. It will be on all of the time. This included during the birthing, so if you are squeamish about that kind of thing, just check the news section for updates. Once the pups are here, you’ll be able to watch them grow.

Enjoy.

Site Launched

Welcome to the new Trillium Boxer website. We launched today.

We think we offer a few things that other sites don’t. We are particularly proud of the “ShowBlog,” which is a web journal written from the perspective of our boxers. The other is Trillium.LIVE, a real camera with an eye on the real life of showdogs. We hope it will let people see that showdogs are, before anything else, pets first. For now the camera will focus on them during the day while we are at work. There are other plans for this project, but we will announce them at that time.

Enjoy your stay!
